A centrifugal pump, also known as a pump, is a high-speed directional machine used to move fluids such as water and oil at high speeds. Centrifugal pumps are used in power plants, on ships, and in other applications. They can rotate 1000 times per minute while moving 250 gallons of water per minute if they are in enclosed space and 600 gallons of water per minute if they are outside. The centrifugal pump relies on the centrifugal force generated by the impeller when it rotates at high speed to throw out the water in the impeller, forming a vacuum state. River water or well water is pressed into the impeller under atmospheric pressure. In this cycle, the water source is constantly thrown out. Check the wear of the shaft sleeve of the pipeline pump on schedule, and replace it in time after the wear is large. Start the pipeline pump motor. When the pipeline pump operates normally, turn on the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump. After it shows appropriate pressure, gradually open the gate valve and check the motor load at the same time. Roll the pipeline pump by hand to see if the guard pump is flexible. Often adjust the packing gland of the pipeline pump to ensure that the leakage in the packing chamber is normal. Close the gate valve, outlet pressure gauge, and inlet vacuum gauge of the outlet pipeline of the pipeline pump. Unscrew the water diversion plug of the pipe pump body and fill the water diversion (or slurry diversion).
If the pipeline pump is out of service for a long time, it is necessary to disassemble all the pipeline pumps, wipe off the moisture, coat the rolling parts and joints with grease, and properly keep them. During the operation of the pipeline pump, the bearing temperature shall not exceed the ambient temperature of 35C and the temperature shall not exceed 80C. The lubricating oil of the pipeline pump shall be changed once every 500 hours after 100 hours within one month before the operation.
Check whether the pipeline pump, pipeline, and joint are loose. If you find that the pipeline pump has abnormal sound, you should immediately park the vehicle and check the cause. Jog the pipeline pump motor to see if the motor rotation is accurate. When the pipeline pump is to be stopped, the gate valve and pressure gauge shall be closed first, and then the motor shall be stopped. Add bearing lubricating oil into the bearing body of the pipeline pump, observe that the oil level should be at the central line of the oil standard, and the lubricating oil should be replaced or supplemented in time. When the pipeline pump is used in cold winter, after parking, it is necessary to unscrew the drain plug at the lower part of the pump body to drain the media to prevent frost cracking. Try to control the flow and head of the pipeline pump within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the pipeline pump operates at the high-efficiency point, to obtain a greater energy-saving effect.
